Tyna Waters

Hi, I’m Tyna Waters! I’m an ER Nurse and have been coaching CrossFit for 8 years. I have experience with kids all the way to seniors!

In high school, I played a variety of sports and competed at the state level in track and field. Once I discovered CrossFit, I fell in love with the intense workouts and the incredible results. Joining CrossFit Shelby solidified my passion for this community, and I knew I wanted to be an asset in helping others transform their lives for the better.

I enjoy coaching, motivating members, and improving their nutrition, but my true passion lies in making people’s lives more purposeful through functional fitness. Personally, life has thrown me a lot of curve balls but thanks to CrossFit I’m still in the game! Let’s work together to achieve your goals and live a healthier, more fulfilling life!

Hi, I’m Clint Bridges! With a background in weightlifting, I started CrossFit in 2012 to enhance my career in public service. I quickly realized I wanted to help others, especially those new to fitness, so I earned my Level 1 certification in 2013. I initially coached at what is now CrossFit Gastonia before joining CrossFit Shelby within a year of its opening, and I’ve been a part of this amazing community ever since. Hi, I’m Carolina Dedmon! Fitness has been a lifelong passion for me. I’ve worked at several gyms in the area and eventually found my place at the YMCA, where I became certified in various areas of exercise and earned my AFAA personal trainer certification. My own injuries led me to discover the healing power of yoga. After completing my 200-hour teacher certification, I realized how yoga could enhance performance and overall well-being.

I’ve since completed a 500-hour certification in Yoga Therapy and truly enjoy helping people strengthen their mind, body, and spirit. CrossFit is another passion of mine because it challenges everyone uniquely, much like yoga. I love watching our members grow and become like family.
